Love & Hope Community Continual (LHCC)
LHCC is a small but compassionate NGO, dedicated to the assisting of especially vulnerable orphaned children as well as the poorest families, empowering them for a self-sufficient future. We are located in the northwestern corner of Tanzania within the Kagera region. Our Diocese borders with Rwanda to the west, Burundi to the southwest & the Kigoma Region to the south. To our east are the shores of Lake Victoria & Mara District.
Inspired by the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi & actuated by the silent anguish of a starving child we provide direct aid for the neediest children & families. We manage ongoing facilitation of AgroEcology & life skills for our local youth. We grow food, build community & provide the love that sustains our children, turning desperation into dignity while ensuring our child never face the world alone.

There are at least 2 million orphans in Tanzania alone. Orphans are particularly vulnerable. With no one to care for them & with no means of gaining an education, these children lack proper nutrition, health care & basic needs, exacerbating the challenges for the surrounding greater communities. Thus, Angel’s Home Orphanage & LHCC provide a home, love, hope, nutrition & education for the most sensitive.
We are expanding our transformative outreach to embrace struggling families & communities. Last year we successfully initiated our AgroEcology Community Farms project & are elevating the quality of life across 8 participating villages.
